My hiatus ends with good reports- seems while you all have been pondering my whereabouts, I’ve made good use of curious time by pounding business pavements off the beaten path (snippets from which to be posted soon.) During my sparser minutes, I rafted one of those ‘do it yourselfer‘ books and wadded into Adobe Flash CS3 animation waters. As a revelation for future reference, my name and the phrase ‘self instruction’ should never partner the same thought. After many a cursed words and disappearance of a few otherwise valuable afternoons, here is my first schooling. Themed after an inspiring ’08 NCS Reubens in New Orleans, my characters, Dots and Dimples, enjoy their nine seconded loop of internet fame. Dimples blows a foot tapping tune to the point he squints as he toots and Dots keeps time with a hip swivel and a flip of her Mardi Gras beads. Click the link below to see the brief yet lively event.
