I’m thinkin’ I might have an honest face, since every few weeks friends, relatives, sometimes total strangers, toss me sets of keys to their particulars. They request my trustworthiness for a little homestead ‘chaperoning’ while they are out of town. For me, that’s translates to ‘movie night’ - complete with chinese take-out and anything cool to drink left in their fridge. My last fortune cookie tried to teach me the finer techniques of useful Chinese words and phrases. The word of the day was ‘baseball’. The phonetic spelling was ‘Bang-qiu’. The actual letters were a series of brush strokes that I wasn’t sure if you read top to bottom or side to side. My vegetable fried rice, however, was straight up!

    Goodness Me!
Just got a word from a reliable source my banner in the background might be reading a bit topsy-turvy.

My apologies to all sensible readers for my faux pas! A correction will be posted soon.
