Recently, I participated in a program that supplies free bags of coffee to the troops overseas. If anyone needed a blistering, hammer fisted cup of Joe, it’s our brave US forces. Now, not that I’m touting, but this offer seems legit and you can share your identity to let a soldier know that ‘this cup’s on you.’ Since I had a day between projects, I created this little donkey in honor of the sponsor corporation: Bad A$$ Coffee Companyâ„¢ (don’t laugh at my dollar signs… i try to keep this a family show.) According to those native of Kona, Hawaii, the legend goes that the ‘Kona Nightingales’ bellows could be heard echoing through the mountains as they hauled the heavy loads of coffee up and down the mountainside… Our little Kona carries a boa of hibiscus and a soft smile.
