Okay, show of hands… how many of you have started projects only to have your client run out of time, money, or interest? Okay, now raise the other hand if this has happened to you involving all three circumstances. Now flap those extended arms up and down. That’s right. Good. Do you recall all your effort creating that much of a breeze when it flew out the window? I created ‘Cuban Pete’ as a concept drawing for a client who wanted a website animated graphic. ‘Pete’ was to jump up and down as he pounded a set of drums surrounding him: his spots changing color with the beat. I got the call as I was creating the drum set. The rough pencils are still in the background. I did get this snazzy sample out of the deal, if that means anything. It’s good blog fodder, at the least…

I love it! Cuban Pete looks like the tye of Fella that would run up your arm and snuggle around your neck. Too Cool!

…sounds like Miss JoAnn has met Cuban Pete before; perhaps in a smoke filled backroom where the music swings and the stakes are high. Pete can be quite the lounge lizard…

Miss Jo Ann Fenstermacher
I think Miss Jo Ann Fenstermacher needs to go to Miami so she can meet a Cuban Pete. One with a hairless chest with six pack abs….No Leater Pants….just balck jeans! No Ear rings, no jewerly…Well, maybe I should just go to Alaska and pick up a Mountain Man….
